Cannon Cup
2009
This year the Cannon Cup was
held on Friday, 22 February, 2009 at Wilton Badmintin Club. Four gents
and four ladies from each club competed in mixed and level doubles for
the cup, originally donated by Vince and Shirley Mortimer of Jedburgh's
Cannon Bar. Despite an early setback of loosing the first rubber, Wilton
went on to win the match 7 - 1.

This year the end of
season buffet dance and prize giving for Jedburgh B.C. was held
in the function rooms at Jedforest R.F.C. on Friday, 27 March,
2009. Once again Wilton B.C. would like to thank Jedburgh B.C.
for their hospitality. Despite the number attending the dance
this year was down slightly from previous years, the Wilton
members always look forward to this great social event and long
may it continue.
